Terms and Conditions:

As the winner, you must abide by all rules and conditions set forth by the Department of Resident Life and Dining Services.  The housing fee would be provided to one eligible undergraduate student who meets all requirements to be eligible to live in residence halls (this does not include the public-private partnership apartments of South Campus Commons or The Courtyards) for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The student would be responsible for selecting their own assignment during the regular Room Selection 2017 process. Once assigned, the student would have fees removed from their student account prior to Fall 2017 bills being generated in July and before Spring 2018 bills are generated in December. The student would be permitted to move within residence halls using regular processes and still have fees waived for the term of the academic year.

If a student leaves the halls at any time, they would not be eligible for any refund of unused housing fees. The fee waiver does not guarantee access to housing to any student who is not already eligible for housing, nor does it provide any benefit or leverage in the selection of an assignment or additional priority for a specific space. Any existing housing commitment position and individual resident priority will not be enhanced for the purpose of selecting an assignment. All of these terms also apply to the dining plan through the Department of Dining Services. This prize is only for the 2017-2018 year. It is non-transferrable, non-extendable and is only applicable to fully enrolled undergraduate students.
